If you want to improve your spoken English (or just want to make sure you don't lose your language skills) and score between 51 and 60 points in the "Quick Placement Test" on www.insideout.net/new/resources/placement-tests, this course is right for you.
Newspaper and magazine articles will form the basis for discussions of topical and often controversial subjects involving Britain, America and other English speaking countries, their history, culture, politics and literature.
Course sessions will be held via Zoom. To get the most of your sessions you should join the video conferences using a Headset and a stable internet connection. You can test whether your set-up will be sufficient on https://zoom.us/test. A document with useful information about joining conferences in Zoom can be found here … (in German!)
You will need to provide an email-address so that the texts under discussion can be sent to you in advance. You will be expected to prepare for course sessions in order to maximise speaking time!
